Disheartening Cycling
I cycle everywhere but I find it very disheartening when people compliment me on my bravery in doing this. It’s my primary mode of transport and recreation but I don’t see myself as some sort of hero of the road. Most road users are very good and accommodating - cycling should not be seen as something dangerous. It is this attitude that stops people doing it.
